[Zei the charmed one] Living Habit 7

I haven't written much, but after having attended the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People workshop - this is me taking an active role in Sharpening the Saw (Habit 7) which in a nutshell for me is doing things that will help you become self-actualized - which will in turn, of course, mold you into becoming the best version of yourself in the workplace and in your personal life. :) So yes, long introduction and all, I am back to blogging/writing. :)

After the workshop our company also had a kickoff in the beautiful island of Boracay (maybe another post on that) and I'd like to share with you one of the things that stuck to my mind. One of the videos we watched had this written - LIFE is a do-it-yourself project.

The concept is actually simple, but being able to do it - that's the profound thing. Being a self-proclaimed DIY girl, this quote about life was really beautiful for me. I could totally relate to it. I've always been guilty of advising people that if it's meant to be, it will happen, but maybe a better mindset to adopt is this, if you want it, then make it happen. :) Easier said than done, I know, but it's definitely worth a good try. 

Today and hopefully moving forward, I will be more empowered to do the things I want and to make things happen for me in all my roles in life. So looking forward to LIFE!!! For this blessed Sunday, let me leave you with a beautiful video. As they say, you only have 1 life to live, make it beautiful.
