[Zei on Career & Passion] Cheers to more positive changes!

It's been awhile since I last blogged, hmm... I guess I haven't found that much time. Zia and Rich are asleep now so I found time to sneak in some me-time-blogging. I've missed this. Haha. Anyway, I'm back again and I guess it's just fitting to share the changes in the past 2 months.

#1 Back at work
Yup, my stay-at-home mom stint was short lived. I'm back at work again and I'm now working in the pharma industry, which is a skip, hop, cartwheel and a long leap from the food industry, but I'm trying my best to learn the ropes as fast as I can. *fingers crossed and whispers prayers*

#2 After almost a decade, I'm driving again
The last time I drove I was still in college which is more than a skip, hop, cartwheel and a long leap from this very day. So yeah, it's been a long time since I last drove and now I'm driving again. I've had a lot of firsts in driving for the past month and I smell progress - drove in EDSA (both alone and twice with my new boss); drove in Marcos Highway with my mom without her remarks saying I'm too young-looking or tiny to drive; braved the mall carpark on a payday Friday are just some of the few minor things for most drivers, but which are considered milestones for me. =p I miss being driven to work by the husband though. =p

#3 No more super paranoid mom
Zia's now 10 months and I'm finding myself less paranoid. I think this lessened paranoia came about after my 4-day immersion in Cebu. The household I was assigned to had a baby girl a couple of months older than Zia and she was happy and okay even if she didn't have her mom wiping her hands with baby wipes ever so often, laying clean cloth for her to sit on and all those other seemingly neat-freak stuff you do when you're a first time mom. Once in awhile I let Zia crawl on the floor (no mats whatsoever, just our floor as it is) and put her fingers in her mouth cause now more than ever I think babies are really stronger than we think. :)

#4 I now make an effort to take care of my skin
I'm handling a skin care product now, Celeteque DermoScience and I imposed it on myself to take better care of my skin. I now tow a starter vanity kit which has a facial moisturizer and a lip balm (both Celeteque DermoScience, of course!) plus an oil control film. So if you wanna know more about this great brand that I handle, check out www.celetequedermoscience.com and learn more about your skin type and the products best suited for you - because beautiful skin starts with having healthy skin. :) Plugging, I know. :)

So there, hoping for more positive changes my way. And now that I'm done with this post I think I'll make some new Polyvore sets. Another thing I haven't done for quite some time. :)

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend! :)

  1. Congrats on the new job and the driving again! I'm the opposite now, F.B. does more of the driving. I still drive occasionally, but usually I'm so tired from commuting after the train, etc, that I let him drive. :-p
